Have you seen The 40 Year Old Virgin, Carell's reaction was real. My understanding is that it gets easier with time.

 

It takes awhile, but have found that shaving every day was the only way to stay smooth without stubble.

I have used an ipl gun at home, but the results are somewhat permanent on some the hair. Takes many sessions but has considerably reduced hair growth.

 

Waxing would be better as it lasts a little longer. Many salons cater for hairy men (probably not the business part of your anatomy though)

 

My wife likes me smooth all over and so do I. Shaving resulted in ingrown hairs and my skin breaking out. So I chose laser. I have been doing laser all over my body for 8 years. Yes it's expensive but the results are great. I have no pubic hair left, no underarm hair, and no leg hair. 99.9% gone. But it takes many laser sessions. Underarms are easy. Pubic hair (Brazilian for me) is not so easy. I have probably been zapped 50 times down there over an 8 year period. 6 laser sessions (common package) will never be enough to remove your pubic hair

 

You can find deals on full body laser. You can try an epilator but you may want to wax first otherwise it is painful the first time but painless after that unless you wait too long to use it.

 

I love my epilator. If you get one, make sure it’s a cordless and wet/dry. If you can afford laser I’d go that route. You may be able to find a deal at www.groupon.com. Make sure they use a real laser and not IPL.

 

I too am kept completely smooth. Shaving a few times a week. Daily lotion regiment. I have also been taking a woman’s herbal supplement which, over time, has slowed body hair growth and softened body hair as well. Solaray female hormone blend. It’s taken some time and 6 pills a day. But, it works.

 

I’ve studied supplements and hormones quite extensively. It’s cheaper and less risky to just take a real estrogen pill daily. With herbals, you have to take so much to get any effect and it can damage your liver. You can get the real stuff at alldaychemist.com or inhousepharmacy.vu

 

Jessica, What does the estrogen do for you? Does it result in less facial hair? Does it make you feel more feminine?

 

It can only slow facial hair but will make rest of body hair similar to a woman if you take enough to lower testosterone. Hair on the body is more of a function of testosterone and drugs work by either lowering T or blocking it at the cellular receptors. High E and low T will make you feel much different. For me it makes me feel normal as in female.

 

How long did it take to feel the affects? I notice the links you posted are oversees pharmacy's. One was India. You sure it's the real thing? You take Premarin?

 

They are reputable and I and many others have used them without problems. Premarin has very nasty health effects. Only use estradiol pills or patches. I like injections but they have been out of stock due to worldwide shortage.

 

Did you lose your ability to get/maintain an erection?

 

I can still get hard when I need but no spontaneous erections. Results can vary by person, doasage as well as your levels of E and T.

My wife prefers smoothness down below and she ordered a Groupon for laser hair removal to remove my pubic hair a few years back. I have finished up with electrolysis, which is actually less painful than laser. I am now smooth as silk down below. Wife forbids removal of chest hair and frowns on shaving legs or armpits but she really likes a smooth pube.

As for her, she sports a full bush. :-0

I keep myself smooth like @Jessica Alexander. I took 2 brazilian laser hair removal sessions that removed part of my pubic and other genital hair. It is easy to epilate daily what new hairs have emerged. I also epilate my tits, tummy and thighs which are not laser treated. Pics in my profile

@knight4princess What electrolysis tools do you use or do you go to a clinic?

 

I started out going to a med spa with an IPL, which I came to understand was less effective than a laser. I've had a couple of treatments with an actual laser. But because most of my remaining hair was fine and light, most treatments have been with an electrolosist. I did have a couple of laser treatments on my armpits and they were really damned effective. I can barely grow hair there now, even when I want to. My pube, cock and balls are completely bald. I still go in for check ups every couple of months and she manages to find and zap the few tiny peach fuzz hairs that still emerge.

 

I bought a Phillips lumea laser off Amazon. I use on chest pits and bits weekly as opposed to every 2 weeks in instructions. Significantly reduces hair growth. I dont need to shave as offen abd what grows back is finer hairs.Does not hurt. Don't think as powerful as salon lasers. I got the battery recharge one, which had gone for mains power as recycles twice as fast. I think there are other similar devices on Amazon for around £100. Check skin colour/hair colour before you buy .

 

I can echo using groupon for great deals on laser treatments. After years of being fed up with irritation and ingrown hairs we decided laser would be worth the cost. Only had 3 treatments (pubic) over 5 months but it has reduced my hair by almost 70%. I also happen to be the ideal candidate as am very fair skinned with very thick, very dark hair.

 

I had full Brazilian lasering years ago and can attest to it working and lasting. I think the price has come down considerably in recent yers. I'd say it's absolutely worth it. Ten years later, I have very minimal hair growth. I went to a dermatologist because, at the time, spas that offered it weren't as prevalent.
I also prefer smooth genitals on my men and from what my husband says, shaving is super irritating when wearing a device. He gets sugared (similar to waxing but less irritating). The regrowth is much less irritating and the hair grows back thinner. Not sure of the science behind it.
