LOL thanks for that, got some issues with these Chinese knock offs though The metal used is it stainless steel? Any ideas how I can check something like that?
They are usually stainless steel but the grade is usually not surgical grade. I’m not sure the actual ingredients that they use to make it sub standard...tin, nickel, etc, but I know if you can use a magnet on it, don’t use it.
Then it would be mostly iron. All sorts of reactions by keeping a piece of iron in constant contact with skin.
I learned the hard way about avoiding non-surgical steel some years ago. I had a Fort (see my album) but had to replace the A-rings as they were not surgial grade stainless and most clearly contained nickel., we had had to coat the A-rings with nylon based nail varnish and rotate 2 of those every other day until I mangaged to find someone that would make me a safe one, which was also much less bulky and lighter and we both thought far more aesthetically pleasing. We (a different we) were recently using a Holy Trainer V2 knock off. Supposedly surgical grade stainless. There was no discomfort like I would expect to have from wearing anything containeing nickel. My time out of the cage was extremely brief just long enough to clean both the cage and wash thoroughly. I did notice a there was a red mark on my glans and frenulum and some very slight swelling around my PA. I just put it down to being caused by the position my penis had been in whilst in the cage. The next time I was allowed out for maintenance a haircut was also on the agenda meaning I was out for much longer than usual and i noticed the mark was still there and was clearly not a short term pressure mark. We switched to a 'plastic' version of the HT2... it is taking a while but the mark is slowly going. Needless to say the steel HT wont be worn again by me. We have switched now to the House of Denial S87 which is similar to the A272 I have seen mentioned favourably by respected people but we feel is more secure. Not perfect though but it will do for now. As with any snug fitting device based on a tube it does need to be well maintained but requires less frequent removal for full maintenance than some plastic devices. Most importantly so far it does not appear to be causing any signs of irritation but quite a bit more frustration which pleases my Lady no end. In brief I'd advise anyone and everyone to avoid any metal device that is not 316L surgical grade stainless steel
Yeah not too fond of this to tell you the truth, aesthetically it would look great in some Domme and sub photographs but think I'll be putting it up for sale on ebay. The holy trainer original looks great but I can't help but think the mark up price on each device is just way too high, I personally put it down to the owners greed, Surely they should be half the price they sell them for. My other issue with Chinese plastic knock offs is the actual material used. I'm all up for safety and do think there could be something damaging in the plastic knock offs. I've seen the house of denial range and think they are just Chinese knock offs with a higher price than buy them direct from wish.com etc. My search goes on for a aesthetically pleasing, safe chastity device.
As does ours. We are convinced we will have to get one made .. finding someone with the skill to make from scratch or customise here in the UK is proving to be a long job.
