*because i felt there may have been other health related underlying issues which i did not think were best to ignore M'Lady. Broken bits are of no use to anyone.

 

If there’s a health issue we think it’s right to release him until that’s sorted out and he’s well. What he is allowed to do while uncaged is still up to you. Once it’s sorted you make the rules again. In our relationship Ian gets release when we want it and the way we want it. He has no say in it. If he complained he would get very short shrift. To give him credit he has never complained.

I'd start by refocusing the conversation on his medical status. If all is well at the moment... Bring it up if/when he whines or attempts a guilt trip. "Are you feeling better? Are you well?"

If/when he says, "yes", I'd then remind him that you allowed that release because it was in both your best interests for him to heal. Perfect opportunity to segue into your point that the form, function, and timing for his release is at your discretion for the exact same reason.

If all is NOT well, then he should get checked out and find out a doctor's opinion on his status. Health and wellness come first, after all!

If it's a genuine health issue then I'd only have released if medically necessary.
But as soon as need departs lock him back up.

Issue though seems to be he topping from bottom. This is a no-no. I'd say lock something (padlock or whatever) on his balls meanwhile. And rough them up a bit. So he does what he's told.
