So.... I've just purchased the spider chastity belt with urethral insert and for the price I'm actually quite happy with it. However, when I came to try the urethral insert (which is quite wide in diameter!) it almost seems impossible to get it in/down there.

    Any advice?

    Welcome to the mansion!

Do you have pictures to show of this device?
What is the diameter of the urethral insert?

    thanks in advance for feedback,

    brgds

It's the spider chastity device with its urethral insert. I've tried to send a pic but this site only allows ridiculously low data images but hopefully a google should help xx

@Sub2785 Hello , I am sure I know the device you have , the insert is a flexible tube with stainless steel ends , right ?? Firstly let me say I am not a fan of urethral inserts and least of all the type I think you have , the main reason being in the best case they can with long term wear promote U.T.I and the type you have I am always concerned about the ends detaching from the tube , and becoming stuck inside you , That said the insert you have is relatively thick and if you have not used an insert before will give you problems trying to insert it , you might find using a narrower plug or sound for a few day will help stretch things and then try again , you need to start small and work your way up to the size you have , also plenty of lube and being flaccid will also help , also if you do use the insert make sure the end has no marks or rough spots on it ,

thanks, but Googling it brings me to for example to ebay, where they mention "sold out" and nothing more, other hits lead me to ll sort of things but not what I think is what you are referring to.

can you send me a link? that would be highly appreciated,

    thanks in advance,

    brgds

    Yes, I can
    Thanks
Looks similar to what I have, unfortunately with me it causes leaking on the outside of the insert, creating a build up between the insert and the urethra, which you can understand is not the way to go long term :(

That's an interesting take on the liquid going down the outside of the insert :)

I have this situation with the Looker insert and feel it is positive as it keeps the urethra as it should be, stops and potential adhesion problems and everything is healthy.

You say a "build up" - do you mean it is trapped in the urethra? I can see it might gather in the cap of the device which is why I am not keen on that sort of design.

I think there is fluid being trapped in the urethra because when I took the urethral insert out for cleaning/desinfecting, I always saw liquid coming out.

regarding gadering in the cap of the divice, you are right that also happens.

But I have also tried an open design and then the cap is not a problem (because there is no cap) but when taking it out, there still is fluid coming our (and it is not from the inner side of the insert).

that is why I call it built up.. maybe not the right terminplogy but that is my experience.

Ah @Felix cum ea i know what you mean now. :) sorry for the delay in replying - I didn't see your post above until this morning.

When the insert is removed there's a dribble of liquid that has been retained.

I console myself that the same liquid is only there for a relatively short period as it will be pushed out at the next toilet visit.

Additionally it's possibly sealing off the end of the tube on the inside. I do recall someone here a while back who was concerned that germs and such like would find their way up the tube, but, in the unlikely event that may happen, the small amount of liquid would be a potential barrier that is refreshed every few hours :)

I think that an inner urethral tube should have enough inside diameter to allow the normal flow rate.

The ideal (for me at least) would be:
    - flexible (I have had the solid ones hurting my urethra,,,)
    - long enough (about 10 to 12 cm in my case
    - inner diameter 7 to 8 mm
    - outer diameter not exceeding 10 mm (that is about the max I can handle)

My purpose would be just the fact that I need to remove it far less (maybe once a week, or even better every two weeks),

But that is probably wishful thinking, haven't found an insert like that yet,,:(
