Can anyone recommend some good resources for a male learning to be a better submissive? And same question for a female learning to be a better dominant?

Googling around it is very hard to find quality, helpful information that isn't geared toward a male dominant and female submissive. As this is the opposite of our dynamic, I thought I'd ask here for recommendations.

Advanced gratitude to anyone taking the time to respond.

    Cheers -

I've been in this lifestyle for over 20 years and have found little out there.
Elsie Sutton probably has the best website
I haven't read her books so can't say how good they are.

Otherwise old posts here have some info. But not enough in a single place to make it easy.

Miss Abernanthy's Slave Training Guide is good, and Mistress Lorelei's sissy maid training manual is excellent if you're into that kind of thing (spoiler: i am). Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns is a great reference. Lana's sissy pet might have the names a little wrong, since she's going from memory -- let me know if you can't find them and she will dig them out.

Thank you three. We'll take a look through those all and see what we can find that applies well to our style.

There is quite a few online claims to say that Elise Sutton is fake. Google it.

I Don't need to Google it, I've heard such things before.
Fake or not she has one of the few fem Domme themed sites that isn't porn or what I feel is wakn fodder.

Some of the other suggestions like Screw The Roses are general BDSM and not fem Domme. The reality is Male Dom Female sub is the majority of BDSM, even though there are a significant number of male subs. In fact as many know the numbered of male subs to Female Dommes is way out of wack. So the lack of useful information is a problem. At least Elsie Sutton offers information in a way that's attractive to some and if she's helping to attract more women to female domination then I'm for it.

ClubFem is a organization that has groups mostly in the US but some chapters in other countries that hosts parties and meetings of Female Dommes and male subs. Their website isn't great and they can be bit cliquish depending on the chapter. I didn't mention them as I don't think they have much literature and I haven't seen them doing much advocacy.

Personally I'd love to see more advocacy no matter who's doing it as long as it is done in a positive way. And even then there will be resistance and negative comments.

That was why I started my own site and started writing books for ladies and chaste males about this chastity lifestyle. There was way too much wank fodder out there and so much of the other stuff based on male dom/female sub. I did read some book when I first got into this but they were way too extreme for my liking and in the absence of what I was looking for, I wrote my own in case someone else was in the same situation as myself.

(Just as a caveat to those who have previously posted comments insulting my site and commercial activities - If you intend to report this as me advertising my site and books please feel free to do so - A question has been asked and I have answered. I have written books about male chastity and I am happy to let people know because there are very few of them out there written by real life people.)

great question. My wife read a few by Georgia Ivey Green seemed to spark some interest these are more chastity related, not sure of true femdom books. I will have to watch the forum and see if anyone else has some good options.

Mistress Jules, it's sad that you had to put the last paragraph. I don't know you or who complained in the past so I don't have a dog in the fight, so it seems nips to me that anyone would see this post as anything other than raising awareness of your books.

That said it can be a thin line at times. One many folks know how to abuse. So I understand the annoyance with what could be seen as a sly ad.

Personally, I'm not sure if this is the proper forum, but I'd love to learn more about your writing, ideally in a public forum so others can be aware of it. So if there is a place here, maybe we can start a thread. If not maybe the administrators can come up with a new forum here for reviews, books, people's sites etc. and if that won't fly then a PM.

Of course I don't want you to break any rules as it would look bad for a moderator to do so.

Thank you so much for the work you have done in creating this site. It is a wonderful resource and community for sub males such as myself.

Oh this is not my site, this site was started by a lady many years ago who has now gone on to pastures new. This was the first site I found which was not obviously porn based, and as the lady owner wasn't here at that time I started my own site as a female run site. Then I met @lockit here and the rest as they say is history, we are both very fond of CM and the community here.

My site still runs but it is much smaller than here and therefore much quieter.

Thank you for that, very kind of you to say. There is a review area "The Mall" I don't think anyone has reviewed any books on there recently that I can see.

While chastity is obviously central, I'm increasingly of the belief that a foundation in femdom / bdsm would have been helpful to us both early on. Things like the roles humiliation, punishment, verbalization play, and just the habits both sides must developed and maintain, and enforce. Even now I think that would be helpful.

Like everyone else it seems, I believe we read the keyholders handbook, but from what I recall it's quite light on some of the deeper desires that drive both sides of the equation and how to use them to enrich the experience for both.

A search for "femdom" at amazon brings up a lot of fiction. There are several books that are marketed as guides, but we haven't read any that I'm aware of.

@Mistress Jules - we'll be sure to check your stuff out.

Good point and one that has been spoken about a few times at various events. A lot of females have been under the impression they must be sub and it can take them some time to realise they can become domme. Guess I know what my next book should be about.

I thought so too. So many books are written by novices and fantasists and worse still, most of the female writers are actually males masquerading.

The Elsie Sutton forms of femdom and power exchange do not appeal to me directly, that said.
The books written by Elsie Sutton have been around for long time and I have heard nothing derogatory about them.

Which leads me to the question you raise ..... about the claims Elsie Sutton is a fake... please tell us... what is meant by fake ?

If the advice in the books is good what does it matter what gender Elsie Sutton is or who Elsie Sutton is?

As for publications re male chastity a few have already been mentioned I'd also include Sarah Jameson's Be Careful What You Wish For.
I've found some of her stuff useful when introducing new partners to TTTWD

Just google it. A few differences of opinion are available on whether Elise Sutton's content is real or not, either in the past or present. Certainly it reads like a man trying to manipulate his way into being dominated.
