Hi there! First-time poster here with a question I hope someone can answer. How do you clean the inside of a permanent insert like the one on my Looker 02? No matter what I do it seems to have a pungent odor to it. I've tried a jewelry cleaner, dishwasher, boiling water, all to no noticeable effect. Any ideas would be very much appreciated as this is a device I've been using for quite some time and I have no intention of stopping any time soon!

have you tried something as simple as a pipe cleaner ? ... maybe you have a "buildup" in the tube ... I would not suspect it in the tube but if you have tried all the things you have stated maybe you do ... urine (if not flushed out with water in this example) with create a build up over time in drain systems ... read here ... https://www.plbg.com/forum/read.php?1,251106 ...

Thank you. I'm going to give baking soda and vinegar a shot. I ran it under a stream of very hot water for about ten minutes and that seems to have helped. I should probably be drinking more water too...

If your tube is metal try a bore snake for a small caliber gun.

You might get some of the industrial stuff that barber's put their scissors/combs in to give it an overnight soak. Just make sure to wash it well before you try to use it.

I'd try a soak in white vinegar first though since it's cheap.
