    My Wife leaves the shower cubicle door open a small amount while i wash myself if I am released so she can keep an eye on me. Luckily the bathroom floor is tiled and has underfloor heating, so the mess isn't so bad.

    Actually it has literally just occurred to me that she does that all the time now, she likes watching me wash even if I am locked up! She doesn't worry about leaving me unattended if I am locked though.

    @Sunny It's called the honor system! He should've known better because I SPECIFICALLY told him before his shower, "No funny business." He understood what I meant and did it anyway! I was running late for work and didn't have time to keep an eye on him. Lesson learned, I suppose.

    @chastemaid The only thing I am apprehensive about is that we are both worried about him pulling out of the Jailbird easily, like he could with the Holy Trainer. We got the punishment pins to deter that.

    I hope you ordered it nice and neat like my pic above.. with the punishment pins as well I can imagine pullout wont be a worry. I can't pull out. I have been locked by my k/h for up to 8 weeks and believe me there were times when I wanted to .     @Thatgirl I think all chastity, no matter the device, is a blend of the honor system and willing participation in relinquishing control. I can understand your reaction to him 'being naughty' especially after you had been so explicit. I can also understand how he might have come up with some kind of convoluted justification in the heat of the moment in his own mind. I think this is probably a positive step actually for your relationship as you both refine the right 'mix' of honor system and control :)

    @chastehubby Why yes it is...but we got the anti-pullout for Ebay for cheaper. We actually had to modify it to make it comfortable for him, but we have finally figured it out!! Larger ring, smaller gap and anti pullout. He was FINALLY able to sleep thru the night!!! Woo! and 3 days since his last O.     I have one too, but I think I need to modify it for comfort as well. May I ask how you modified it? Also, is it really effective at keeping him from pulling out?

    When I've been properly teased it can be really hard to not touch myself. Or not masterbait given the opportunity.

    Some guys like the honor system and are good at doing what they are told. For me the turn on is more about being unable to do something. Not dis-allowed but made unable by device and bondage. How each couple plays will depend on their personalities and what turns them on. Maybe you like him obeying you. Maybe you like knowing the device prevents him from touching himself.

    As pointed out, a metal cage like the jailbird can be cleaned without removal. That's one part of the solution.

    I'm pretty sure that I could pull out of and get back into any ball-trap device. But some guys report being unable to pull out of some devices. Give me enough lube and I'm sure I can slide out. Give me a stocking and I'm sure I can get back in.

    I've never used anti-pullout spikes but can't imagine spikes that could be worn on-going preventing me from pulling out. But I've not tried them. Might work for you.

    But even if I can get out of a ball trap device it raises the bar. If I have to pull myself out, well, that is a step up in conscious choice. Ultimately we decided to get me pierced and order a device secured by the piercing.

    So, if you want to be obeyed then strong admonishemt to him, maybe some punishment. If you want him to be unable then improved cage technology.
