DIY anyone?

Just wondering how many people here develop their own devices, either partially or fully?

I have at this point in time made my own base ring for my Chinese made cage. I found the cage to be very comfortable but the base ring gave me a lot of trouble. No matter what I tried, the original silicone sleeve, plastic tubing, medical tape even, nothing stopped it from breaking the skin at the back of my scrotum. So I looked at my first cage again ( a chrome plated sex store POS ) which had been quite comfy despite not being made from stainless. I then got some SS rings from the marine shop and did a little bit of welding, filing and polishing. here is the end result.



I also rounded off the sharp edges on the padlock. the way the base sits now is very comfortable. My key for the lock which is unusable since its on the locks shackle doesn't dig into the skin and there is no loose post anymore to hold everything together... so it can't swing around and dig into me when I bend over, which is fairly important in my job as a truck driver for a printing company.

 

The pics were taken while I was coming down from morning wood so I guess it does look tight. In actual fact I am planning on trying a smaller base ring soon as there is a lot of free play with the current 50mm setup. The way it sits now I have been wearing for 3 weeks full time. I barely know its there most of the time.

 

It's a work in progress. The cage works for now but I want some other features in it. So I'll be welding up a new one soon. The tip at the moment has a threaded part for a urethral insert. But it pinchs the skin when use my PA through it. So that needs to be looked at. And I want to have something on the base to stop the padlock from moving around so much. As well as possibly making it more of an oval shape although the offset of the three rings at the moment kind of gives it an oval shape already.

 

I'll give that a try. I'm heading down to my workshop shortly so I'll see what can do. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

Interesting idea. Does the PA bar pinch at all?

 

Here is what I got done this afternoon. Still a few bits to be welded on but I've run out of time at the moment. A bit of filing and a lot of polishing to go as well.

 

I used an arc welder, but I sourced 316 Stainless welding rods and always warm the rods up by striking an arc on some scrap steel first otherwise the rod tends to stick to the Stainless.

 

It's been a slow weekend with a fair bit of cleaning up to do after we had some flash flooding in SE QLD on friday afternoon.

But I did get a little bit of time to do a bit more welding

I still want to but three bars along the length. One on top and one on each side. These will be flush with the rings. I also want the top one to wide enough to engrave Rebecca into it.

The Base ring still needs to be fabricated as well.

 

Did some more work this afternoon. I now have most of a 46mm curved double basering. I just need to add the post to the top to attach the cage And give it a finale smooth and polish.

We are doing a test fit today. If all seems well I will give it a good polish this afternoon. I'm not 100% sure about the lock setup yet. That may require a rethink at some stage. But it does work the way it is. On the plus there is no pinching with my PA ring in... unlike the chinese cage.
I did end up making it a tad longer than the chinese cage as well. I was getting a bit of unwanted swelling between the base and the cage. That seems to be gone now.


I didn't end up doing the extra bars down the length of the cage yet. I'm not sure if I really need them or if it will just end up being more work for no gain. I may still weld a flat piece down the top though so that we can engrave "Property of Rebecca" into it.

 

Fit was beautiful. I didn't even know it was there

So now it's shiny. Ready for long term wear.

 

The base ring is fairly snug. I haven't had any problems yet with it slipping down. I also haven't felt any pressure on my PA ring.

The Horizontal bars across the front did look a bit bulky at first and Bec asked why I put them on as even when I try to get hard the head of my penis doesn't touch them. The lower bar provides the anchor point for my PA ring the loop around and the top bar means I can't stimulate the head. I can poke a pinky finger in snd touch but not move it around.

I might still do some more mods on it if I discover any areas that need attention. At this point the biggest issue is the way I've joined the two pieces together. I have a few ideas rattling around my head... It all comes down to how to make sure it is secure, comfortable and not complicated.

 

Ok... one week in. There are a few things I might change on prototype 2, nothing major.

Overall I'm happy with it, it is a little weighty but the base ring is a nice snug fit and carries it well. The PA never feels like it is being pulled and the ring always feels loose against the bars.

Sleeping in it is almost like sleeping before starting chastity... almost. I am aware of it during night swelling but it is just a firm resistance. No pain or aches from the cage trying to pull my balls off.

At work I can jump in and out of the truck all day with barely any need for adjustment. Except when the key on the lock shackle spins around and tries to stab me thats one of the things I want to try and fix on #2...

I'll probaby start putting #2 together this week. But I'm not in any hurry at this stage. I'm still musing about a better PA locking idea.

 

Ver 2 finally started
