Hello, fairly new here and to chastity, but loving it. Living in northern Canada and it's starting to get cold. 4 days in and I went out to the garage this morning to start working and within a half an hour a dull ache started in my balls. Within an hour I was walking funny (on tip toes ;))and within 2 hours I was thinking of calling my wife for a key (shame).

I went inside, had a cup of soup and everything quickly became fine. Obviously there was some shrinkage from the cold and my balls wanted to go "inside" for a break but couldn't due to my ball trap.

I have a custom (DIY) device so I can make changes easily. My device is insanely comfortable and secure but was wonder if:
    a) Could my device be modified?
    b) Is this pain normal?
    c) Has anyone come up with a trick in the cold?

I am expecting a "suck it up" :spank:response but was hoping for at least a "yay me too" o_Osentiment.

It was easier for me to move to a tropical climate than to deal with shrinkage. Now my wife thinks I am a BWM (Big White Man). You should not be in pain. Do something about it. Device may be too tight. Chastity should be fun, not painful unless you are a sadist. I like some pain with my sex but not afterwards. You may have to do as I sometimes do, use two different sized rings, changing as needed. You should be able to get a finger between your balls and the ring.

Thanks Vinny, my ring fits nice (over 2 1/2" dia.) and is slightly oval with the backside bent slightly. In fact I went swimming a few weeks ago and due to no friction and cold water I had a ball slip out (not nice). I don't want to go any bigger or I may have security issues.

Thank you for your post though. :)

I feel for ya since I live in Michigan. Not sure we ever really had a summer this year lol. I think its normal for your bits to shrink in cold weather but yeah it shouldnt be painful. Could the pain simply be from friction? Maybe try some lubricant on your ring?

ive found pure silicone lubricant works the best for me. Others I've tried were A&D ointment, baby oil, and talc poweder. The silicone has been the best. Once in the morning, mid-afternoon, and before bed.

    Hey there!!!

Yep! Is your boys natural mechanism to pull up closer to the body!!! They are clever little buggers our balls!!! They need a specific temp to produce their wares and if it's too hot or cold they hang or pull up accordingly!!!

I guess the only way to stop that happening is to keep the fellas a bit warmer!!! As @Rita suggests..... thermal undies or even some ladies heavy dernier tights will work!!!

Seems like you gotta warm things up down there to combat the cold outside!!!

Either that or do an @Vinnie ..... go tropical!

    With the absolute kindest regards.

    J.

As mentioned above, the pain tends to be more to do with the burning around the ring, rather than your balls moving up, simply because your ball sack skin shrinks down, so you are getting friction burn. I always used to use some special gel you can get in most supermarkets or whatever they are called over there lol, and apply that around the sides. I've forgotten it's name but basically look for something to stop friction between your legs, Make sure its gel, NOT CREAM! Cream will make everything white and yucky. Gel is see through, and only use a small amount of the ring will be super slippery.

People mention friction issues, but you only talked about your ball hurting so I'll stick with that
Also you mentioned a ball popping up once, etc
My guess is that your setup is not tight enough, especially the space between the ring and the cage. If its too large, there is room for your balls to be squeezed between the two. With a shorter gap, this doesn't happen.
